For young children, the focus on mental health is in learning social-emotional skills which include having close and positive relationships, exploring & learning, emotional management & understanding and learning to express their feelings safely. Having social emotional skills makes it easier for children to solve problems, focus, learn new things, do well in school and maintain healthy relationships.
Individual Therapy Sessions
Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. Several Modalities of treatment are used to treat mental health and behavioral health issues that manifest through trauma, day to day life stressors, physical illness, domestic violence, relationship conflict, losses, addictions and those that are genetic in origin. Treatment is provided face-to-face to adults ages 21 through 65,
Case Management Support
This service is included with individual and family therapy to help support client goals. Case Management is a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual's and family's comprehensive health needs through communication and available resources to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes.
Trauma Focused Therapy
One of the most effective forms of treatment for trauma-based disorders in children and adolescents is Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Trauma-focused CBT was developed specifically to treat individuals between the ages of 3 and 18 years of age. A relatively short-term therapy model, the effectiveness of TF-CBT has been consistently proven by multiple clinical studies.
